Services

Online

Disagreements happen. And without the proper tools, they can quickly escalate into something much worse than just an argument. That's why we offer mediation services by phone or online by the hour. This will help you reverse conflict and maintain a future relationship with one another.

A half-day online mediation service that saves time, and is cost-effective and constructive. For a straightforward dispute, avoid the stress and inconvenience of attending the same venue and resolve it in half a day online.

Call a halt to a dispute that has more complexity. Online mediation over a single day is ideal for conflicts and disagreements in which the parties would have to travel further to meet face to face.

As an Associate Member of the Civil Mediation Council I subscribe to their Fixed Fee Scheme. It is intended to give the parties to a dispute that's valued under £50,000 the option to employ a mediator at a proportionate rate. You can learn more about this here.

You pay a Fixed Fee for a set amount of time based on the financial value of your dispute. Each additional hour under the Fixed Fee Scheme is charged at £100 per party:

If your dispute is valued £5,000 or less, the CMC Fixed Fee for online mediation is £75+VAT per party for one hour or £125+VAT per party for two hours. If you're not sure how long you'll need, you can save money and have greater flexibility by booking Disagreement First Aid for £70 per party per hour. Alternatively, book here for a two-hour mediation, with this quick, single appointment solution.

In Person

The best way to resolve a dispute is by finding a solution together, not in court. By attending a mediation in person everybody has a chance to feel heard and understood, and there's a strong chance that a resolution can be found by the time everybody leaves the venue.

Mediation is the process of resolving disputes by talking about them and trying to find mutually agreeable solutions. By giving your dispute a whole day and attending in person, everybody has the time and space to find the best solution.

As an Associate Member of the Civil Mediation Council I subscribe to their Fixed Fee Scheme. It is intended to give the parties to a dispute that's valued under £50,000 the option to employ a mediator at a reasonable rate. You can learn more about this here.

Life Event

Talking about moving in together? It's an exciting time, but it's not just about finding a place to live. It's about understanding your partner and the relationship you want moving forward.

The very rich might instruct separate solicitors to negotiate a cohabitation agreement (or "no-nup"). However, the majority of cohabitation agreements never end up in court, probably because the very process of agreeing it consolidates a couple's understanding of what to expect from each other.

Cohabitation preparation uses mediation techniques to help you work together to give each other confidence in your living arrangements and yourselves.

Book now for five sessions and reserve your first appointment time. Future appointments will be made on an ongoing basis.

If you are moving out of a shared space, mediators can help you to identify points of conflict and find solutions that work for everyone. Whether you're leaving a shared house or relationship, the last thing you want to do is fight. Let an independent mediator help you and your former partner or housemates to come up with a plan so you can move on with your lives.
